Amazon.com Product Description If you don't trust your equipment, you shouldn't be hunting. Fortunately, the Bushnell family of riflescopes is extremely trustworthy, with some of the most innovative, dependable, and accurate optics you can carry into the field. This particular scope--the Elite 3200 5-15x40 short-action riflescope--boasts multi-coated optics designed to promote generous light transmission and crisp image quality. The scope's primary protection is Bushnell's exclusive Rainguard lens coating, which reduces large drops of water to near-microscopic specks, thereby dramatically increasing light transmission and resulting in a remarkably clear image in wet weather. The scope is also remarkably durable, with a rugged, one-piece aluminum tube. And like the 4200, the Elite 3200 is recoil tested with 1,000 rounds of a .375 H&H magnum. Offering everything the avid hunter requires, the Elite 3200 riflescope is backed by a no-questions-asked one-year replacement warranty (U.S. only). General Features - Rainguard lens coating

You won't find a better scope for the money. June 13, 2010 M. Miller (California) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have owned this scope for over three years & I give the Bushnell Elite 3200 tactical 5 stars based on it's outstanding value, high quality and excellent features. This scope features AO/parallax adjustment, 5-15x magnification, extremely clear optics, big target turrets, mil-dot retical & solid 1/4 moa clicks offer precise adjustments.
This scope does have it's limitations, however.
Scope is a second focal plane scope, which means that as you magnify up, the mil-dots will not magnify with the zoom. You can only accurately mil at the specified magnification, which is 15x on this scope. And don't bother calling Bushnells customer service, they'll tell you it is at 9x like they did to me after I first bought it.
The other limitation you will find is that this scope only offers a total 33 MOAs of elevation. At least, mine does. Mechanical zero starts a rediculous amount of clicks up (almost a third of the scopes elevation range), which means, anything past 720 yards is beyond the range of the scope; which kinda defeats the purpose of a 15x on my heavy 26" s/s barrel .308. Anyhow, to hit anything beyond this and you will need to fork out an additional $80-$130 for a good 20 MOA tapered scope mount base.
Also note that this scope requires 4.3" of eye relief as where most scopes require around 3.5". I actually prefer this longer relief, but anyone out there trying to use a hunting rifle may have to push your rings forward an inch to compensate.
Now if money was no object, I'd be looking through a $3,000 Nightforce instead of a $300 Bushnell. But since money is an object, I am happy to know that I got the best bang for the buck. For that reason, this scope gets 5 stars.
Excellent scope for the money May 12, 2010 Eric C. Goshorn (USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I placed this scope on a Remington 700 target tactical rifle. The scope is extremely clear and easy to use. In fact, using a bushnell boresiter, it was the fastest I've ever lined a rifle up. I'm very pleased with the product. Some thing to think about though, you need a scope mount with 20 moa to hit a target at 1000 yards. Niteforce makes an excellent one for 86 dollars. Hope this was helpful.
Awesome Scope March 27, 2010 t-10-charlie (PA) I mounted on a Howa 30-06 great magnification and clarity with easy to adjust tactical knobs. 5*s
Fine Optic at a decent price February 27, 2010 R. Hanes 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this scope as a result of having purchased the larger, more expensive Bushnell 6500 Elite. I had such good results with that scope I naturally turned to the 3200 for a good scope at a bargain price. It is mounted on a 243 Win. varmint rifle and does a great job. The tactical model was my means of getting external adjustment turrets as I shoot over a wide range of distances. If you hunt in wide open country like I do where extra power and precision are necessary to have reasonable expectations of hitting what you're aiming at this is a great scope. The mil-dot reticle is fine enough that you don't block out targets at extended ranges. This 3200 is lighter and more compact than the 6500 model and therefore more portable and easier to carry in steep terrain. I would highly recommend either model and find Bushnell has put fine workmanship in both models. The internal tracking mechanism is very precise and reliable. I calibrated mine in 10 MOA increments at 100yds and the movement was precisely what the markings indicated. There is little to no guess work with a fine optic like this one. Get it properly zeroed, know your rifle and caliber external ballistics and you are good to go at whatever distance you feel confident with.
Better than I expected January 26, 2010 sniper (Mesa, AZ United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have this scope on my remington 700 sps tactical. I have been using it for over a year now, and it has kept its zero each time I shoot it. I love the mildots and once you learn how to use them, they are incredible for measuring and shooting different distances quickly. The quality of the lens is very good, very comprable with the leupold on my work rifle. After searching the entire internet for a quality scope that did not break the bank, this was it and I am very satisfied. The warranty is also nice to have if you need it. I know I have sent several leupolds away for one thing or another.
