easy set up August 27, 2010 Jerry I received the rifle a day before it was scheduled to arrive. I took it out side set it up and started shooting. Once I got it zeroed into my target, each and every shot was in a very tight group. I'm so very happy that I selected this rifle.
Rugar Blackhawk August 19, 2010 Jerry I recived this gun with in 3 days and on the 4 day I had it zeroed in to the bulls eye. Very nice air rifle. a little heave but then this is not a toy.
Look's Good - Doesn't Shoot Well April 24, 2010 Joseph M. Ewan (Colville, WA) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Rifle has good weight and balance. Sights seem good, as does the scope. Bought it base on the positive reviews I'd read. BUT ----
After shooting about 300 pellets through the thing and after much fiddling with the scope, tightening screws etc., I cannot shoot any beter than about a 4 or 5 inch group at 20 yards, from a very steady rest. I must have gotten the lemon of the bunch. This rifle will be going back to Sportsman Guide, to be replaced by the Gamo Whisper. Hopefully it will live up to its positive reviews.
Ruger does it right March 31, 2010 Curtis (Ohio) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I reviewed the Ruger AirHawk combo for you guys. Now I'll review this one. It's just as good as the AirHawk, but sports a synthetic stock which is lighter and of course just about indestructible. My ratings are basically the same for this rifle. It's a winner no matter which one you choose because both rifles use the same mechanism and ruger always likes nice stocks.
