Product Description Accu-Grip Handheld Tripod System! The tiny size of cameras nowadays makes it easier to drop them and can allow us to accidentally block the lens or other sensors with our fingers. This Accu-Grip not only gives you a better grip on your camera, lessening the chance of dropping it, but it also greatly increases your range of photography angles as our wrists do not allow us the freedom of shooting pictures in any angle that we wish to. This grip can also be attached on top of a tripod to add an additional extension and grip. It is also compatible with spotting scopes and binoculars that are tripod adaptable for a convenient handheld stable viewing.
Amazon.com Product Description The Barska Accu Grip Handheld Tripod System is a convenient way to shoot stable pictures with your camera. Now you won't have to take another blurry shot. Easily mounted to any camera, the handheld tripod system's non-slip finish provides a sturdy grip along with a greater range of motion. The Accu Grip can be mounted to a tripod for additional extension and grip. It is even compatible with spotting scopes and binoculars that are tripod adaptable.

Nice! August 12, 2010 DS This product is more so a grip then a stablalizer. The build quality is nice, and the material has a nice feel to it. I would reccomend it to a friend.
Easier and faster to hold camcorder stably May 20, 2010 H. Wang (San Jose, CA) I guess the manufacturer hears the complaints, they remove the tiny machine screw protruding out of the mounting pad.
I use this grip to attach to my Canon HF200 high-def camcorder. That makes it faster and easier to hold the camcorder stably. The grip itself is well constructed and it fit most people's hand perfectly. Before, it takes more time for people to postion their hand to hold the camcorder stably. With this grip, I can easily and quickly pass the camcorder to friends, so that I can be in the video too :-)
To bad, they didn't take advantage of the empty space in the grip to make it a storage place to hold memory card.
Overall, a useful tool.
Amazing for Handheld Camcorder Shots May 5, 2010 Rose Mary Lalonde (Connecticut) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love, love, love this product and I just ordered two more. I am a professional videographer and we have two very small Sony camcorders which are a little hard to hand-hold. Using this grip, we get very steady hand-held shots every time. Additionally, we attach the camcorder with this grip to our Manfrotto 595B Fig Rig Video Camera Stabilizer Support and for a very small fraction of the price of steadi-tracker gizmos, we get great fluid motion shots. I could NOT do without this product !!!!
Works Great ! April 24, 2010 Surf Photos (NC,VA USA) Bought this to hold my Panasonic TS2 while shooting pictures in the surf. My version did not have the screw protruding that many said gets in the way of mounting a camcorder. It makes taking video and pictures with the camera much easier. Glad I got it.
Like others mentioned, the threads dont line up April 12, 2010 FXguy (Midwest) This product works ok when u can get the threads to line up. Like others, i have had trouble 90% of the time with the threads lining up, preventing the camera to sit flush and secure. I would give it fewer stars, however, i am able to use it with a few cameras, so i am giving it some credit. The grip itself is well constructed, and if it worked would be 5 stars. I thought about returning it, but for the price, i can get some use from it. I like it, i just wish the manufacture would fix the threading problem ;(
