Decent product, but... August 31, 2010 Highside Product works as advertised. However, you must use Loc-Tite or Threadlocker on all screw threads, even the screws holding the back plate which contains the on/off switch. The unit fell apart after first gun range use without the thread lock. After thread locker... no issues.
works well for the $ August 25, 2010 Herb Can't see it outdoors in the daylight, but works well in-doors & at night. For the money ($30) I love it. Sighting it was quick. I've had to re-adjust the sighting a couple times, but it hasn't been off by that far.
Not loving it....... August 24, 2010 M. Jung (Los Angeles, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This has all the trappings of a great device. Nice price, solid body, only the on off switch is plastic. Easy to install, simple to operate. Fits just about perfectly on my Glock 19. The biggest problem is that it will not zero. At 15 feet is it 8 inches off point of impact. If I adjust it anymore the adjustment screw FALLS OUT. Here's to hoping I just got a bum one. asking vendor is I can do and exchange and get a new one. If they make good and I get a good unit, I'll be back to change this review. Wish me luck.
Works great, easy to adjust, versatile. April 11, 2010 Amery Priestman 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This fits on our pistol and our rifles (though it does need to be adjusted with each switching which makes me thing we should buy one for each gun), and that makes it versatile. We also can use it with our NCStar LED light. The switch is nice, the quality seems great. The red beam has a VERY long reach though max I'd want to trust it is 50 yards. It's a pretty cool little gadget.
red laser March 23, 2010 Merle P. Reinke (sun city center fl usa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
purchased this for my handgun with hope of improving on target practice but was disappointed with products working in daylight. i was hoping that laser would be strong enough to use at outdoor shooting range but laser was not strong enough to see on target. i would recommend anyone that is going to use this type of laser to use it at an indoor range or buy one that is more then 5mw.
